Head of Department
Being a native of Dumka, Jharkhand, I am currently serving as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. With two years of teaching experience as a Lecturer in Computer Science, I strive to bring a blend of academic depth, leadership, and enthusiasm for innovation in education.
My journey in education began at Holy Child School, Dumka, where I excelled both academically and in extracurricular activities, scoring 90.4% in my ICSE matriculation. I continued my studies at Dev Sangha National School, Deoghar, where I pursued Science with Computer Science and held the role of Senior House Captain. My consistent passion for coding led me to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from B.A. College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur. There, I actively engaged in inter-college competitions, winning accolades in debate, presentations, and technical workshops.
As an HoD, I am committed to nurturing technical skills, creativity, and leadership among students, while creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

The Computer scince and Engineering department was set up with a vision of producing high quality technical manpower needed by today’s computer sciene sector. To accomplish its goals the department has been imparting quality education. Attempts are made to optimize research and improve everything constantly. Computer science and Engineering Department integrates scientific principles with practically oriented research , providing systems and process that themselves create ways of acquiring new knowledge. The Department has been constantly encouraging its students to engage in extracurricular and co-curricular activities essential for development, nurturing of team spirit and developing organizational skills.
The focus of the department is to produce quality and professional engineers to cater the needs of the society. We emphasis team work to give opportunity to each student to benefit from the ideas and innovations from the faculty as well as peers.

About the Department
The department of Computer Science and Engineering at J.P. Institute of technology offers a vibrant atmosphere for learning in the field of Computer Science and Engineering since 2025 with current intake of 60. The area of computer science engineering helps student to enhance his or her capability to think for professional society & nation in large. Department is well equipped with lab to trained the students to advance their theoretical knowledge and sound practices of the profession.
The dedicated staff members have sound knowledge in emerging areas of computer science and allied engineering domains. The breadth and depth of the research interests of the academic staff ensures a high standard of lecture courses and provides excellent opportunities for challenging and stimulating final year projects. Computer Science and Engineering is one of the core fields of engineering so it is always evergreen in terms of scope and job prospects.

Laboratories
The Department has qualified faculties with expert knowledge and foreign exposure to training the students not only in technical aspects but also in communication skills and interpersonal relationship. Latest software according to syllabus and others software is also available.
